For 33 years, 1976-2009, Berks Ballet has been a vital force in the Berks County arts community. The company has an extensive classical and contemporary repetoire. A regional dance company, Berks Ballet dancers audition for placement. Berks Ballet is a non-profit 501 C-3 organization dedicated to offering traditional classical training and a performance venue for that talent. The company is guided by a board of directors and is supported by The Friends of the Ballet and the Berks Arts Council through the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
